The Cloud is a mobile, dream-inducing micro-environment which encourages autonomous, novel thinking. Its exterier is approachable; its small scale, simplicity, and optimistic imagery are welcoming and disarming. Its clean, graphic form stands out against the gritty complexity of Detroit, drawing attention and inviting investigation and interaction. The Cloud is straight forward, recognizable, and universal; it thwarts misinterpretation and bypasses questions of taste. The Cloud is a multi-sensory refuge that shelters its participants form their immediate surroundings and promotes projective throught. In order to directly engage the city and its people, we brought the Cloud to Detroit. For more information, visit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bI0RvwzvdY4.
